Barea Stadium
It was called Municipal Stadium of Mahamasina before its renovation by the fifth republic of Madagascar in 2021. It means litterally the place that gives ointment. It was named like that when Radama II who was one of Kings that governed Madagascar was coronated there and it has become a place where the King gave his speech to his people.
The Botanical and Zoological park of Tsimbazaza
It is located in the valley of Tsimbazaza, around 10 mn from downtown by car. Founded in 1925, this place provides an overview of Madagascar's biodiversity especially its flora and fauna. It is one of the most visited Zoo here because it even has a museum to present the prehistoric history of Madagascar, the customs and the endemic species.
Soarano railway station
We refers this place as the center of the Capital at Kilometer from any citiez and regions in Madagascar. It was built from 1908 to 1910 by the Contractor Comebois at Soarano which means the site of a fountain.
The Pavilions of Analakely
It is one of the famous markets found in the Capital because it is always crowded in the weekdays and in the weekends. Originally, the small forest that gives the name of Analakely was used to construct those wooden pavillons.
The parc of Ambohijatovo
It was recently renovated by the Municipal in the beginning of 2022, but generally, it is a garden shaded by Eucalyptus and jacaranda. We can see in front of the entrance a stele of March 29, 1947 in memory of those who died to claimed for Madagascar's independence during the colonization of France. There is a monument dedicated to Christians martyrs as well who were burned alive in Faravohitra or thrown from the summit of the upper cities.
